This figure shows an experimental setup of the analysis of the copper protein Pseudomonas aeruginosa azurin, by a bipotentiostate, integrated with an AFM. A scanning surface confocal microscope (SSCM) is used to locate and study the protein by exiting the attached fluorophore. The bipotentiostate is used to study the electrochemical properties of the protein.
